Terms and Conditions for Stud Services

Financial:

The stud fee quoted is all-inclusive - there are no additional costs.
•No charge for agistment
•No charge for routine vaccinations or toenail clipping
•No charge for mileage or delivery
•No charge for pregnancy scanning

There is no discount for multiple matings; we believe our males are worth their fee.

Returning Kilnwood clients get 20% reduction on stud fees.

Payment will be due on receipt of invoice which will be issued following a positive pregnancy scan and before the female is returned to the owner.

If the cria dies within 48 hours of birth the female will be remated with no additional charge. This only applies to the original purchaser and the original female and is not transferable.

Livestock:

All alpacas coming to the farm must have up-to-date vaccinations and have been wormed in the 48 hours preceding delivery. This obviously depends on the honesty of the owner but bio-security should be of the highest importance to all of us.

If there is an emergency and veterinary assistance is needed urgently we will attempt to contact the owners for their permission. However, if the owner is not available we will make the decision and call out the vet. These veterinary costs will be invoiced.

We will take great care of your alpacas while they are with us but owners are responsible for insuring their own animals.
