This afterbirth appeared within twenty minutes of the cria being born. It is entire; no debris left inside - something else not to worry about.
The afterbirth should be disposed of as soon as possible. Everyone has different ways of doing this. I dump it in a band of woodland on the opposite side of the road from the farm where a passing fox or badger will dispose of it without coming near the herd.
